The atmosphere was electric, and fans were treated to edge-of-the-seat encounters — with single-goal thrillers, walkovers, and jaw-dropping performances that had everyone talking.
One match that stole the show? None other than the titanic clash between the Cheetahs and Ocean Dolphins — a one-goal thriller that had fans on their feet, cheering every pass, block, and shot. Cheetahs narrowly edged out the Dolphins 34–33 in what could only be described as the match of the day.
ROUND 1 - SECTION C Results Recap
The opening round of Section C was nothing short of explosive, with The Ones making a statement, thundering past Rise and Shine with a commanding 59–27 victory. Happy Club also brought the heat, overpowering ESayidi 51–38 in a goal-rich affair.
Meanwhile, Umfolozi A Panthers showed their claws, sinking the Ocean Dolphins with a stunning 44–21 win, and Mtuba Queens secured a walkover against UMdoni Diamonds, taking home the points.
ROUND 2 - MALES A SECTION Delivered Drama
Round 2 raised the stakes even higher. The headline-maker? Cheetahs vs Ocean Dolphins – a battle royale that ended 34–33 in favour of the Cheetahs, who showed nerves of steel.
Elsewhere, Hammarsdale Sunbeams edged Mtuba Central 30–28 in a nail-biter, while Ziphozonke unleashed a netball storm on Umlazi Panthers, demolishing them 55–31.
Ocean Predators roared their dominance with a brutal 77–40 takedown of King Shaka, and Ulundi Movers picked up a walkover win against DUT.
ROUND 3 - SECTION C Kept the Heat On
The Ones returned with another impressive win, this time stomping past Mtuba Queens 52–25, cementing their reputation as serious title contenders. Umfolozi A Panthers were no different, easily outclassing Rise and Shine 41–19.
Umdoni Diamonds bounced back in style with a strong 34–20 victory over Ocean Dolphins, proving they’re not to be underestimated.
ROUND 4 - MALES A SECTION Was Unstoppable
Round 4 was pure fireworks! Cheetahs continued their golden run, defeating Hammarsdale Sunbeams 48–37, while Ocean Predators showed no mercy, thrashing Ulundi Movers 58–25 in another powerhouse performance.
Ziphozonke survived a spirited fight from Mtuba Central, narrowly winning 39–36, and Umlazi Panthers snatched a dramatic 43–42 victory over King Shaka, showcasing grit, heart, and never-say-die attitude
