KwaZulu-Natal continues to continues to cement its reputation as one of South Africa's leading netball development provinces after a number of of its talented players and talent identification players were recognized by Netball South Africa following the 2026 Telkom Netball Championship.
Sevens of the province's brightest young stars have earned selection to the U19 Training squad, a reward for their outstanding performances throughout the national championships. The selected players are :Mbali Diphoko,Esethu Mbhele,Sinegugu Gamede(all three Harry Gwala),Nonzuso Thusi(King Cetshwayo),Siphesihle Magwaza(eThekwini). Their selection is a testament to the hard work, discipline and commitment they have shown throughout the season, as well as the dedication of their coaches, schools, clubs and district structures that continue to nurture young talent across KZN.


Adding to the province's success, several KZN players have been recognised in the Talent Identification programme highlighting the strength of the province's development pathways. The selected Talent Identification players are: Lindiswa Khanyi(Zululand),Aphile Johnson(King Cetshwayo)and Wandile Buphela(Uthukela).
