KwaZulu-Natal Netball has every reason to celebrate following the selection of Nozipho Ntshangase and Thulisile Maduna to the SPAR Proteas squad for the 2026 Africa Netball Cup, set to take place in Nairobi, Kenya from 19 to 26 September.

The talented KZN pair have been rewarded for their outstanding performances with an opportunity to represent South Africa on the continental stage as the defending champions prepare to defend their Africa Cup crown. For both players, the selection marks another significant milestone in their netball journeys. Ntshangase and Maduna have worked tirelessly through the ranks, proudly carrying the KZN flag while establishing themselves among the country' top talents.

Their inclusion in the national squad is particularly special as both players recently made their Spar Proteas debuts, a moment that signalled the arrival of two exciting talents on the international stage. Now, they have another opportunity to wear the green and the gold as South Africa targets back-to-back Africa Cup success. The selection of Ntshangase and Maduna highlights the continued growth of netball in KwaZulu-Natal and services as recognition of the province's ability to produce players capable of competing at the highest level.
