The second round of the KZN Netball Super League exploded with energy on Saturday, 03 May 2025, at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay, delivering a thrilling weekend of fire, flair, and fierce competition. With teams from Section C and the Male Division taking centre stage, fans were treated to electrifying matchups, dramatic finishes, and unforgettable performances as teams returned to the court hungry to build momentum in their campaigns.
SECTION C – Passion and Points on the Rise
The weekend opened with Umfolozi Panthers asserting dominance over Mtuba Queens, securing a confident 43–25 win. King Shaka held their nerve in a nail-biter against Happy Club, edging them out 39–34, while Umdoni Diamonds started strong with a 33–24 win over Esayidi TVET College.
In Round 3, Umdoni Diamonds made it two in a row with a 32–26 victory over Rise and Shine, showing grit and game management. Esayidi TVET College bounced back with a commanding 39–17 win against Ocean Dolphins, and The Ones and King Shaka played out an entertaining 38–38 draw, leaving both sides hungry for more in their next encounters.
MALE A DIVISION – Power, Pace and Precision
Round 2 saw Ocean Predators put on a clinical display to beat Cheetahs 38–32, while Mtuba Central Males made a massive statement with a 66–18 demolition of DUT Males. Ocean Dolphins looked sharp in their 65–26 win over King Shaka, and Ulundi Movers earned a walkover victory against Hammarsdale Sunbeams.
Round 4 continued the fireworks. Umlazi Panthers battled hard for a 34–28 win over Ulundi Movers, and Ocean Dolphins proved too strong again, edging Mtuba Central Males 41–36 in a high-quality clash. Meanwhile, Cheetahs delivered the biggest win of the round, thrashing DUT 71–26. Ziphozonke received a walkover victory against Hammarsdale Sunbeams.
Unfortunately, the last round of matches couldn't be completed due to unforeseen circumstances, but not before the weekend gave fans plenty to cheer about.

All eyes now turn to Umhlathuze Sports Complex, Richards Bay on 24 May, where the league returns with more high-stakes matchups. With teams hungry to climb the table, expect even more fireworks—and maybe a few surprises.
