KwaZulu-Natal is beaming with pride as one of its brightest stars, Nozipho “Gojih” Ntshangase, has been named in the final 15-woman squad to represent the SPAR Proteas in the upcoming international Test Series against the world’s best.
From the courts of Ziphozonke Netball Club and the Kingdom Stars to donning the green and gold, Ntshangase’s journey is a story of relentless hard work, dazzling talent, and the spirit of a true competitor. Fondly known as the Black Jaguar and Gorjias or Gorji, she has consistently thrilled fans with her sharp skills, speed, and fearless play.
This milestone does not only belong to Ntshangase, but to the entire KZN Netball family and community who have nurtured her growth. Her selection is a victory for every young girl in the province who dreams of reaching the international stage.
The SPAR Proteas face a monumental challenge as they line up against world No. 1 ranked Australia and No. 2 ranked New Zealand. Ntshangase and her teammates will need to draw on every ounce of resilience, experience, and unity as they step onto the court to battle the giants of world netball.
