Hosted by KZN Netball in proud partnership with the City of Umhlathuze and the KwaZulu-Natal department of Sports, Arts and Culture. he Grand Finale marked the conclusion of months of intense competition that showcased the very best netball talent across the province.

The Ocean Dolphins wrote a new chapter in KZN Netball history by lifting the prestigious Grand Finale trophy for the first time. After qualifying for the the top four, the Dolphins outplayed eThekwini 37-34 in the semi-final, before edging past their rivals ,Ocean Predators in a nail-biting final that ended 37-36..

In a women's division the Cheetahs produced masterclass performance to claim the 2025 Grand Finale tittle. They overcame BSS Stars 44-33 in the semi-final and went on to dethrone the formidable Ziphozonke 48-42 in an electrifying final , cementing their place as the new queens KZN netball.

The atmosphere at Umhlathuze Sports Complex was electric with fans filling the stands to celebrate the beauty of the game. The day was graced by dignitaries including the MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture, Mr Mntomuhle Khawula, Mrs Ntombela the second Vice President of KZN Sports Confederation, former Netball SA president Mrs. Mimi Mthethwa-Zulu, Estelle from aQuelle, Mr Hlatshwayo representing the City of Umhlathuze as well as other senior officials from DSAC and Umhlathuze.

Adding to excitement ,the BSS stars and Ziphozonke Males earned the bronze medal after hard earned victories in their playoff matches. Individual Accolades were also awarded out standing players.
